About myself

After completing high school specializing in mechanical engineering I began my studies in informatics at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. I participated in special program jointly set up with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology offering lectures in German language. Funded by a scholarship from DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) I spent one semester in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Driven by my interest in foreign languages and curiosity about different cultures I began studying Japanese language at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. Then I was admitted to Hokkaido University where after 6 years of study and research work I obtained MSc degree in Economics. After graduation I worked as full time Japanese-Hungarian interpreter in the technical and research center of a leading tire maker in Tokyo.

During my studies in Japan I spent one year at Peking University in China studying Chinese language and doing research related to Chinese macro economy. I worked as sales leader in China marketing imported goods and later as business advisor at a Japanese bank in Hong Kong. After moving back to Hungary I was employed by a Chinese businessman in Budapest where my responsibilities included full time interpretation between Chinese and Hungarian during meetings as well as managing business activities.

My previous jobs all required high level of Japanese and/or Chinese language skills. As a result I am well experienced in interpretation and excel in both Chinese and Japanese languages. I have been to almost every major city of interest in China and have practical knowledge how to get around. I have attended several trade fairs and organized numerous visits to Chinese factories during which successful business cooperations were established.
